The Zip-Chem 009402 is a non-drying CIC, effective in a wide range of temperatures.
Zip-Chem 009402 Features:- A non-drying, wide temperature range, corrosion inhibiting compound
- Used in the formulation of Cor-Ban® 22
- Contains a thixotropic, buff colored film
- Exhibits an extremely smooth and uniform paste like consistency without any lumps or grit
- Yields a smooth, non-drying, and even film that generates excellent corrosion resistance
- Low odor, non drying, non-toxic, and safe for users
- Typical working temperature range for Cor-Ban® 27L is -65°F to 180°F (-54 to 82°C)
- Wide temperature applications up to 280°F (138°C) (Gearbox applications)
- Withstands high ultra violet exposure in highly corrosive environments
- Withstands brief exposure to temperatures up to 500°F (260°C) with little impact on its corrosion protective properties
- Free of chromates, asbestos, MoS2, and graphite
- Works on any metal surface
- Approved as a replacement for chromate containing non-curing pastes
- Free from heavy metals
- Yields a smooth, non-drying, even film that yields excellent corrosion resistance
- Coats intricate parts
- Available in a Semco® cartridge that fits into a standard pneumatic or ratchet sealant gun that is common in the industry
